THE BEUTY OF VILLAGE LIFE

The village way of life is unique and different from city life. It is very simple, calm, and closer to nature. Cities stand for speed, technology, and changes in every second of life, while villages are still standing on tradition, community, and slow motion.

Attachment with each other is a distinguishing feature of village life. Every villager in his village knows all the others, and their relations are almost entirely personalised. They work together, join in each other's joys and sorrows, and celebrate festivals and days of merry-making together. This close atmosphere gives rise to mutual help and co-operation in daily life and makes it easier and tension-free.

Nature is often the hub of village life. Surrounded by open areas, fields, and forests with rivers running across them, villagers generally go hand in glove with nature. Most of them are seen to take up agriculture as a prevailing occupation. This is because most of them survive on farming. The seasons of the year and natural cycles of life regulate and control their day-to-day tasks. This contact with earth not only serves as a means of sustaining village economies but also engenders respect for nature.

All of these disadvantages, in many people's opinion, are considerably outweighed by a close-knit community, a healthy environment, and, all in all, a more peaceful lifestyle.

What this means is that the village balances the pendulum between simplicity and fulfillment, gives us another rhythm to contrast from the fast-moving and stressful features of modern urban life, and it reminds us about community, nature, and tradition.
